The Good results of running or jogging

There are many benefits to running  and jogging some of the benefits are; weight loss,  building of muscle better cardiovascular , strengthening of bone improved overall health, better self-confidence and stress control.

Running / jogging can help in losing weight, stay in shape and improving how your body looks it will also increases your metabolism and keep it working after the run or jog.

Running and jogging with the weight loss will help control high blood pressure, I was taken medication twice a day and now I am off and my pressure is under control, I find it once you start seeing results you want to eat better and it keeps you motivated.

Not every can start running, so it she be done slow and at a comfortable pace, If you are new to running or jogging it  time you will build up the speed and distance. Everyone is different and has different health and fitness levels so listen to your body.  You should run at a pace were you are still able to have a conversation without losing your breath.

It will be hard at times so it is best to stay consistent and try to find a program were you are running a minimum of 3 days a week with some alternate training on other day.  You should also rest a few days a week so your body rest and build the muscle.

In my training I ran 3 to 4 days a week, on the weekend I would do my long runs adding 1 mile every Saturday up to 10 miles then 2 miles every other week.  I have completed 26 marathons and a number of half marathons.  I also had a few time jobs while training so it will take some dedication.

It never matter if  I was doing a Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K , there is also the joy and sense of accomplishment when you cross the finish line, it is a great feeling.
